Love Tour Note: Making headway!

Chinese filmmaker Bin Zhao was a guest in our home last fall and had several useful tips for us! (One of his main questions to the world figures he interviews is "What is love and hate for you?")
If things seem to be moving a bit slowly at this end, it's because we were caring for my dad on his final journey and tending to funeral arrangements and all the related details.

But we are definitely back on track and have exciting news to share with you! We've been working on a trailer for the Love Tour documentary, and yesterday we finally brought the script to our media arts technician, Phil Rose. Phil had written to me: "Remember, just because a trailer is fairly short in length does not necessarily mean it is that much easier to put together - might just be the opposite - in order to keep it tight and effective you have to give it quite a bit of thought."

No kidding! I'm feeling a bit too sheepish to tell you how long it took to put the script together for this three-minute trailer, but it was a huge relief to place it and the accompanying USB key into Phil's hands. Now he's working his magic.

We plan to use the trailer to raise funds for the production of the doc. I'll let you know where you can see it! We're also looking at incorporating Moon Dog Theatre as a federal not-for-profit corporation. Stay tuned!

Caring for your Dad is more important than creating a movie --- It's this thing called love (of which you're fast becoming an expert).
