DAY 4: LOVE TOUR

This is the delightful family we stayed with in Sault Ste Marie: Rowena and Gerry Kirk and their daughter Melia and twin boys Graham and David. Sorry to say, we didn't manage to interview them as everyone's schedule, including ours, was so hectic.

Today was a seven-hour bus ride to Schreiber with a rest stop in White River, where we interviewed Allyssa Lewis about her experience in finding love (she was on her way to Thunder Bay to join her boyfriend). We did a second interview, with Taylor Baranec, who talked about what her young son has taught her about love.

Unfortunately, we're on the run so much--often without internet access--that we're not finding the time to edit our interviews and post them for your viewing pleasure.

We're only in Schreiber (population: 1,000) for one day. But we hooked up with a Town Councillor who wants to do an interview with us tomorrow in the Council chambers. This connection happened because of our awesome press agent, Cheryl Driskell, who sent a press release about the Eye for Love Tour to a town official.

Winter has not left this stretch of Canada. Still snow along the highway and in the woods, and large patches of ice on Lake Superior. Some of the rivers still have snow on too of their frozen surface   For all that, it's beautiful. Sometimes the sheer vastness of this country boggles the mind.

Yes, road trips can be hectic, fun, enlightening. The vastness of the country is astounding! God Bless and safe travels! I've just started following your blog , so I send Love to the Love Tour!.

Have you gotten the "we're never getting out of Ontario!" feeling yet? It may be cold, but I'm happy you're not passing through the same time as the black flies!
Enjoy,
Heather
