We're in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, at the Paradise Inn Motel, where there's a Bhagavad Gita in the bedside table along with the Gideon Bible.
On the crowded bus from Calgary, 17-year-old Jessica Hewison invited me to sit next to her. She's a competitive figure skater from Cranbrook, BC, on her way to Medicine Hat, Alberta, for two weeks of intensive training with her coaches there. She was eager to share her passion with us for the Love Tour.

Funny thing about our time so far in Swift Current: We made a personal connection with everyone we met--our cab driver, the motel desk clerk, the restaurant owner, and finally a customer in the restaurant. This was Jeremy Weber, an interior systems mechanic who oversees repair projects for Oceans Construction. We interviewed him just before our meal arrived.
With all the time we had on the bus today, I managed to prepare three interview clips for you: Gilles Cyr (our last Ontario interview, at least from the westward part of the Tour), Mario De Negri and Cathleen Hjalmarson (both in Winnipeg).
